Trabajos de argentinos publicados en el exterior


Raúl S. LavadoEsta sección tiene como principal objetivo presentar la nómina de los trabajos científicos que se publican en el extranjero sobre los distintos campos de la Ciencia del Suelo. Esto permite que muchos miembros de la asociación tomen conocimiento acerca de trabajos que podrían ser de su interés y que de otra forma pasan desapercibidos. Si bien el avance de Internet hace que las publicaciones internacionales sean más visibles, no todos los trabajos publicados de argentinos o sobre suelos del país llegan a conocimiento de todos.

Los trabajos publicados en el exterior se citarán de acuerdo con las siguientes pautas:
1) Se publicará la referencia de los trabajos publicados en el exterior, no el trabajo completo o su resumen.
2) Se citarán solamente trabajos publicados en revistas incluidas en el Science Citation Index. Se incluirán trabajos en prensa cuando ya estuvieran disponibles on-line con su correspondiente DOI (Digital Object Identifier)
3) No se incluirán presentaciones a congresos, capítulos de libros o libros.
4) Además de los trabajos de autores argentinos, se incluirán trabajos de autores extranjeros desarrollados con suelos de nuestro país.
5) Los trabajos incluidos en la lista deberán haber sido publicados a partir de 2003 y las citas de los trabajos se ordenarán por orden alfabético y por año. Las citas se mantendrán hasta un máximo de 10 años de antigüedad.

Periódicamente se irán agregando nuevas publicaciones o referencias de trabajos que no se disponían al momento de iniciar la sección.

Evolución del número de trabajos publicados en el exterior (Raúl S. Lavado) - Actualizado el 15/07/2011

La figura muestra la evolución del número de trabajos nacionales publicados en revistas de circulación internacional, con impacto medido por el SCI, desde 2003. Hasta el presente se han relevado 491 trabajos.

Analizando la distribución temporal de las publicaciones se observa que, aunque existen variaciones anuales, se registraba una tendencia creciente en el número de publicaciones por año. Un ajuste sencillo indica que la tasa de publicaciones en el exterior aumentaba hasta 2009 a un ritmo promedio de unas 7 publicaciones por año. Cuando en ese diagnóstico se incluyeron los trabajos correspondientes al año 2010, se produjo una marcada caída en la tendencia y el promedio resultó en un poco más de 3 publicaciones por año. La fuerte caída de publicaciones en 2010 puede significar un cambio de tendencia o el resultado de un número incompleto, ya que seguramente falta registrar la actividad de otros autores en ese año o un fenómeno cíclico. En los próximos meses se develará esta situación.
